In the section "Historical works" we publish an article "Fragments for the history of the Bibelski family, collected by the Archbishop of Lviv Jan Prochnicki" (1902).
We have, in fact, a collection of randomly collected and loosely connected materials and notes, which the collector himself apparently so little satisfied.
New publicistic article
In the section "Publicistics" we publish the article "Another case" (1917).
Life and technology are evolving – and the corresponding terminology is being created in what we call the people in the narrow sense.
New article on history
In the section "Historical works" we publish a review "Lithuanian-Rus’ Diet" (1902).
Too much of all this as the history of the Diet, but not enough as the history of the structure of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania.
New publicistic article
In the section "Publicistics" we publish the article "To the Last Judgment" (1917).
Ukrainians must organize in every place and in every circumstance, looking for connections that will connect them most strongly and lasting.

In the section "Historical works" we publish a review «D[octo]r Stanisław Kutrzeba. Sаdy ziemskie i grodzkie w wiekach średnich» (1902).
Having discussed, at least slightly, the Rus’ voivodship, the esteemed author seemed to have forgotten about the other two voivodships, the Belz and the Podil voivodships, and, although he mentioned them, he completely missed the land of Kholm.

People despair not only in the expected coming of the golden age, but in general in all progress, in the reasonableness of life, in the human mind and its means.

In the section "Historical works" we publish a review «Stanisław Kętrzyński. Kazimierz odnowiciel (1034 – 1058)» (1902).
In the history of Casimir, so-called The Monk, or The Restorer, is interesting for us as well episode, that has not been clarified yet – his alliance with Yaroslav.

In the section "Publicistics" we publish the article "On Christmas Eve" (1917).
Friends and brothers! You, who walk the Way of the Cross, which was passed by the best Ukrainian sixty years ago, in memory of him, who followed you relentlessly on this paths.

In the section "Historical works" we publish a review "List of populated areas of the Kyiv province" (1902).
In this respect, it stands far below the work of the deceased Pokhilevich; historical notes are given only in county towns, and even then they are bad.

And so great is the power of this slogan over Polish society that it, in the vast majority, has come to terms with all the defects of this proclamation of independence.

Despite this incompleteness and various ambiguities and errors in general views, the article of the respected author gives a valuable reason to the history of the structure of the n lands of the Crown.

In the section "Publicistics" we publish the article "Expansion of the autonomy of Galicia. Death of Emperor Franz Joseph" (1916).
We will understand that this is about the interests and desires of the Polish people of Galicia, which is still considered its inherent master in higher Austrian circles.

In the introductory investigation of this volume, the current editor of the publishing project, Dr. Prohaska, planned to give a brief picture of the structure and life of Galicia on the basis of court notes of the 15th century.

Surprisingly, although this act was reported almost from the very beginning of the war and the proclamation of an independent Poland was hoped for last year and this year, the current act still made a sensation.

There is no longer in it that bold criticism, that proud flight of the mind, that power and scope of the concept that fascinated the reader, even with mistakes and deviations, in the first part of the work.

"Russian society" has remained and remains deeply indifferent, if not hostile to the national question in general and to the Ukrainian question in particular.

The publisher failed to form the system in the schedule of extracts, but the index of authors in the third issue saves the reader from this difficulty.

It is not uncommon to come across the idea of Ukrainism as a phenomenon introduced, artificially cultivated – abroad, by the deliberate patronage that the Austrian government allegedly showed to Ukrainians.

Still, this preaching of unbridled nationalism and the proscription of undesirable national currents that seem to threaten Russia’s unity cannot be considered insignificant.

In the section "Historical works" we publish a review «Antoni Prochaska. Geneza і rozwój parlamentarizmu za pierwshych Jagiellonów» (1902).
Mr. Prohaska, not content with the coverage of the history of Polish parliamentarism by Pawinski and Rembowski, gives his own theory.

It was with the spring session of the Duma that new manifestations of the same course for the eradication of Ukrainians coincided in the form of the "suspension" of the only Ukrainian edition – the Odessa "Osnova".

In the section "Historical works" we publish a review "A. Shakhmatov. Ancient Bulgarian Encyclopedia of the X century" (1902).
I must note that one should, perhaps, be more careful in the reduction to that original source of the heterogeneous constituent parts of the Hellenic chronicler versions.
