With energy worthy of any praise, Mr. Bilyashivsky, despite all the difficulties and obstacles, continues his journal, which, by the way, became the only one in Russia.

In the section "Fiction" published story "Herodiada" by G. Flaubert, translated by M. S. Hrushevski (1902).

In the first part, the most interesting is the chronological analysis of the stories of "Science"; the conclusions of the author are not always happy, between them and the date of 1106 for "Science" has no reliability.

An interesting article, "Higher зower in Russia in the 18th сentury," stops above the principle expressed in the Russian code that the power of the emperor is while unlimited and autocratic, is obligatory only in manifestations consistent with the law.

Apparently, the concept of ethnographic (antiquities, serving to illuminate the Great Russian art), and the notion of political – antiquities from the territory of present-day Russia, obviously hinders him.

In general, "Chronicle" serves as a very valuable textbook for anyone who is interested in Ukrainian archeology, and the work invested in it by the editor is worth every recognition.
