In the section "Historical works" we begin to publish a collection of "Excerpts from sources for the history of Ukraine-Rus' up to half of XI century" (1895). Today – the first 3 chapters, including "2. Hippocrates."
Hippocrates, the younger contemporary of Herodotus (born 460, died 377 before Christ), the forefather of scientific medicine, telling in his book "On the air, water and a place" for effects on human physical circumstances, recalls also scythes.
