Pavlik and Franko set themselves the duty of carrying out the work entrusted to them by Dragomanov: the founding of the Polish-Ukrainian Socialist Party of Galicia.

The ominous prophecies of Dragomanov were fully fulfilled: the Viennese prosecutor’s office confiscated "True Word" and prosecuted its publishers.

Doroshenko Petro, Ukrainian hetman, one of the most famous and popular figures in Ukrainian history. He is considered the grandson of Hetman Mykhailo.

For all his concessions to "radicalism," Dragomanov still held to the old position that the "task of March" was to gain political freedom and constitutional guarantees.

Dashkovych Ostafy, a prominent Ukrainian figure of the 16th century, is wrongly glorified by later tradition as the founder and organizer of the Ukrainian Cossacks and the first Cossack hetman.

We are starting to publish the article “From the Beginnings of the Ukrainian Socialist Movement” (1921). Today – the first three chapters, including “Mykola Ziber and Serhiy Podolynskyi.”

In Lviv, Ziber and Podolynskyi found Buchynskyi, to whom they had letters (also to Sushkevych, about one of the leaders of the senior Galician Narodniks).

It can be said that the historiography of Khmelnytsky’s epoch to this day has not managed to break free from the influence of this legend, has not freed itself from its spell.

We publish the article by Myron Kapral and Andriy Felonyuk "When the Guns Spoke, the Muse Clio Was Not Silent" (2009).

M. Hrushevsky’s scientific productivity was influenced by events of the war and revolutionary period, which were independent of the scientist’s will.
