House of the Shevchenko Scientific Society in Lviv (1912 – 1914)

House in Lviv (Vinnichenka St. 24), where from 1912 worked Shevchenko Scientific Society.

This house, like nearby (Vynnychenka 26) was purchased for society by events M. S. Hrushevsky. From 1912 here were situated basic institutions of society and its library and museum.
